One of the most popular artists working comics today, Ethan Van Sciver is best known for his work on the mini series that brought back Hal Jordan, Green Lantern: Rebirth and the subsequent relaunch of the new Green Lantern series. He's also penciled Superman/Batman, Justice League of America, Batman/Catwoman, The Flash: Iron Heights and the special issues introducing readers to the Green Lantern nemesis The Sinestro Corps. Van Sciver is also one of DC's top cover artists. For Marvel Comics, Van Sciver has worked on X-Men.

In January 2009, Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver reunite for the mini-series Flash: Rebirth.
